Russia: Israeli strikes on Lebanon risk destabilizing Middle East

Russia has warned that Israeli strikes on Lebanon have the potential to completely destabilize the Middle East (West Asia) and widen the conflict there.

When asked about the strikes, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov told reporters on a conference call that “this is an event that is potentially extremely dangerous when it comes to the expansion of the conflict, to the complete destabilization of the region. Of course, this is of extreme concern to us.”
