TEHRAN – Iranian top flight football club have completed four new signings in the summer transfer window.
Nassaji, who currently lay bottom of the 2024/25 Iran Persian Gulf Professional League (PGPL), have signed Alexander Merkel, Muntadher Mohammed, Mohamed Mamoun Eisa and Kevin Yamga.
Merkel,32, is a Kazakh professional midfielder, who has signed for Nassaji from Emirati club Hatta.
Iraqi international midfielder Muntadher Mohammed, 23, has joined Nassaji from Mes Rafsanjan.
Sudanese striker Mamoun Eisa, 30, joined Nassaji from English side Exeter City.
And Yamga, who suffered an eye injury in training in January and was deemed surplus to requirements in Esteghlal, joined Nassaji for an undisclosed fee.
